What we do
Straight fells where there is room, and sectional dismantling with ropes and rigging where there is not. We take trees down beside conservatories, sheds and boundary walls without touching them.

Get your light back without losing the tree. We shorten branches to healthy growth points so the tree keeps its natural shape and stays safe. We do not top trees, and we will explain why if anyone has offered to.

Ground out 250mm below soil level so you can turf, pave or plant straight over it. We bring our own grinder, so you are not waiting on a hire company.

Beech, laurel, privet and leylandii, cut straight and cleared away. Annual and twice yearly maintenance if you would rather not think about it again.

The most common call we get in Limerick. A row of overgrown leylandii taken out, roots ground, and the boundary handed back to you the same day where we can.

Who turns up
I trained in Ballyhaise, climbed for a contractor in Cork for six years, and came home to set up on my own in Limerick. There are three of us and we work together on every job.
We turn up when we say we will. If we are running late because a job went long, you will get a phone call, not silence.

Anywhere within about forty minutes of the city. If you are further out, ring us anyway. We often travel for bigger jobs.
Before you ring
Sometimes. Trees under a Tree Preservation Order, trees in a conservation area and some trees at protected structures need consent from Limerick City and County Council. We check the register before quoting, free, and we will tell you honestly if the answer is no.
A small garden tree is usually €250 to €450. A large mature tree beside a house, needing a climber and rigging, is typically €900 to €2,000. Stumps from €90. Every quote is fixed and in writing before we start.
Yes, included. Unless you want the logs, in which case we will cut and stack them for you. The rest is chipped and taken with us, and the ground is raked before we leave.
Topping cuts the head off a tree. You get weak, dense regrowth, a ruined shape and a shorter lived, more dangerous tree. Crown reduction shortens branches back to healthy growth points instead. We do not top trees.
€6.5m public liability and full employer liability. Ask for the certificates and we will email them straight over. Tree work beside a house is not somewhere to take anyone's word for it.
